the seal shows Tahquitz Mountain, for which the Parlor was named. It is a sharp lone peak upon whose shoulder a great rock, known as Taquitz rock, dominates the surrounding landscape. It is Tahquitz Peak which is sain to have rumbled in the days of the Indian and which inspired marvelous legends.
