LIBERTY PARLOR No. 213
Instituted May 3, 1918
When Liberty Parlor No. 213 was established we were fighting World War I for our Liberty and buying Liberty Bonds to support the war effort. The seal shows the Liberty Bell. The parlor was instituted under the gas lights of the Odd Fellows Hall in Elk Grove in 1918. Later, Two parlors: Chabolla No. 171, Galt and Victory Parlor No. 216, Courtland gave up their charters and joined Liberty Parlor.
We have “round table”, “open” and “formal ritual” meetings, depending on the activities planned. We try to keep to Native Daughter traditions while incorporating current activities and ideas.
Liberty Cracks, our bimonthly newsletter has been in publication for 27 years and is currently distributed via both US mail and email to save on paper and printing costs. It includes upcoming events, parlor news and other important messages for our members.
Our members attend other parlor events within our district and travel outside the district to other district events. We would love for you to join us in this great organization!
